The thing that makes it Adventure is our adventurous family. The thing that has made our family adventurous is the travel. We hope you enjoy the tips, fun, and encouragement to get out there with your family this BLOG presents. But, why us? Why this BLOG?

We are a family of four with a vast range in age, interests and talents. What we all have in common is a desire to see the world and try new things. Sometimes it works out exactly as we planned. Many times it does not. But, that never stops us.
Favorite places we have been include Thailand, Japan, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Greece, Italy, Peru, Mexico, Texas, New York, Los Angeles and Southern California, Chicago, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Utah among others. And yes, we have even been to Orlando.
We consider travel a team sport. Here are our team members:
Walker - Young and always up for being first in line, Walker jumps right in and shames the rest of us into putting our fears aside and giving it a shot. His best travel story is when he came face to face with a "Great White shark" in Greece - and was saved by a punch to the nose and Whitney's grip from above. We rely on him for comedic commentary, daring us to the next level, and chatting it up with people we meet along the way.
Whitney - Up on What's Hot and What's Not, Whitney is cool under pressure and resourceful in finding solutions. Her favorite memory is flying over the Nazca Lines with the pilot screaming "Monkey on the left, Monkey on the left!" Our team could not do without Whitney's inherent sense of direction, gift of persuasion, ability to spot animals that are otherwise camouflaged and amazingly quick reaction time in emergencies.
Jennifer - Willing to do the legwork, Jennifer often does the research and bookings that form the backbone of the trips.
Reading a road map in Italy is one of Jennifer's travel victories. Jennifer brings organization, back up plans, and a comfortable lap to the team.
John - Always leading the charge ( he carries a bright orange back pack so we can find him in the crowd), John traveled early and often. His enthusiasm was contagious to us all. He loved the dreamlike vision of a Llama trotting across the garden in Peru. John's travel talents include using technology on the fly, knowing a touch of Spanish, remembering to take picutures and being able to pull entertainment out of his pocket - literally - he is a magician.
